Disney Dream Depot

We are taking our first Christmas time trip to the World from 12/1 - 12/7.  Friends who have been Disney lovers long before we became addicted will be joining us.

We have tickets to the Christmas party the Friday we are there.  We have a day scheduled in Magic Kingdom, a day/night in Epcot, a day/night in HS and my family of 6 (including my Mom) will be heading to AK for a day as well.

What shouldn't we miss?

Thanks!

Sounds like you covered every park. The must sees are Osbourne Lights-HS, Candlelight Prosessional-Epcot.
Go around and see all of the resorts decorated for Christmas especially Boardwalk, Beach Club, Grand Floridian, Contemporary. The campground is nice during this time of year because the campsites are all decorated by the people staying there. I think they still do Sleigh rides there too.
I have gone during this time of year and it usually is not crowded but if Disney runs a promotion during that time, it maybe a little busier than usual.
Above all Have a Magical time.
Hi CoffeePlease!
Christmas is a great time of year to visit WDW.
One of our favorite things to do was going to Beach Club and Yacht Club and the Grand Floridian and see the various gingerbread creations. There is a train, and carousel and a life-size house. The whole family loves to do it.
If you are spending time in Hollywood Studios, make sure you see the Osborne Lights. It's millions of lights all along the Streets of America.
Epcot has the Candelight Processional, which is a great retelling of the Christmas story hosted by celebrity narrators.
There are also sleigh rides at Fort Wilderness and Port Orleans that are nice winter activity outside the park.

Above all, realize that there is never enough time to everything you want at WDW, and pick and choose carefully. No matter what you decide to see related to the holidays, you know it will be fabulous- just like everything Disney does!
When we have traveled to the World during the holidays we always make time to see all of the displays in the hotels. Some of my favorites are at the Yacht Club (last year it was a chocolate carousel) and the Ginger Bread house at the Grand Floridian! Go in the evenings and you can get all dressed up and have you picture taken in all of the hotels by the PhotoPass photographers!
